The clock face is made from very heavy duty 1/8 inch steel and measures approximately 36 inches in diameter. Mounting Tabs are integrated into the clock face. Clock Hands are Black (see Hand Style selector below). A synchronous high-torque clock movement will be supplied. Every effort has been made to minimize the cost of the movement. Normally the movement itself (excluding hands) for commercial clocks this size will cost on the order of $3K to $5K dollars. The movement selected for this job is a simple, yet very robust & reliable. Note: the movement for this clock will not have a time adjustment feature. Time adjustments will be made by simply powering down the movement and then powering it back up at the correct time. It is recommended that the customer plug the movement (110V) into a UPS power supply to eliminate/mitigate the effects of power outages. Adjustments to the clock time (as described above) would typically only need to be made during daylight savings time. The movement must be installed from the blind side of the wall. Only the shaft of the movement will protrude through the wall to the clock side. This ensures a nice, clean, uncluttered look. Also, this is the preferred method for public spaces as it is not susceptible to tampering/etc. The shaft length is 20" and is a robust 1.5 inches in diameter! This is a high-end industrial movement! Please verify that the wall thickness is not greater than 18 inches. Note: the movement housing has adjustment capability so only the desired amount of shaft length protrudes through the wall to the clock side. Clock hands will be selected by customer from a standard design sheet (see below: many designs to choose from). Quote assumes clock and clock hands in basic black color. PLEASE NOTE (Read this Carefully): Total freight is NOT included in this price. Freight is estimated to be on the order of $200 and is based on shipping location.
