A note about finishes. No two stars are alike and every patina is different. The patina process is governed mostly by nature with a little prodding from me. The pictures you see are approximations of what your star will look like. You can be assured that no two stars will ever be alike; this is the trademark of a hand-made product. I am positive you and your family will enjoy it for many, many years to come. See web page (The Painas Close Up) to view close-up images of the various patina choices. My HAND MADE stars have depth of color, and character that I am proud to offer. This star is made from heavy gauge 100% pure copper sheet and measures approximately 48 inches from top to bottom and 21 inches from side-to-side. THIS IS NOT A CHEAP TIN STAR. Tin stars bleed rust and make a mess of your brick and siding. These stars are beautiful hand-made works of art that will be treasured for years to come. A little about me. I have been intrigued with stars since childhood. Stars are my business. I buy copper by the TON to get the cost as low as possible. Due to the very large size of these stars, they are shipped disassembled. I supply patinaed brass bolts (which match the star color) and brass wing nuts for easy assembly upon arrival. Note: 16 inch, 24 inch, 30 inch, 36 inch and 40 inch stars are also available as described above. Note: A single mounting hole in the upper point is provided.
